Started in Akron, OH in 2008, and is now expanded to additional cities (Canfield OH; Canton OH; and Cleveland OH). MKU ATHLETICS (Most Known Unknown) welcomes athletes of All Ages to participate in our programs and activities. At MKU Athletics we focus on fundamentals, an overall great experience and most importantly fun. Parents can rest assured that their kids are under the supervision of capable, certified, caring counselors and coaches. Every athlete at MKU ATHLETICS is guaranteed an amazing and unique experience in a safe and FUN atmosphere that is geared towards positive results. Since 2008, Owner Steve Reynolds created Most Known Unknown (MKU) Athletics to be utilized as an innovative and traditional approach to improve the academic and athletic performance of local student-athletes. MKU develops and maintains a relationship with its student-athletes throughout their student athlete career, while providing athletic training, academic tutoring, career assessments, college tours, and mentoring. “MKU was created to help parents assist their children in reaching their goals, pursuing their passion, and better navigating the college application and recruiting process,” explained MKU CEO and Founder Steve Reynolds. “I played sports in high school and college, and although while in high school, I was known in the area, I was unknown throughout the country, which is what inspired me to help our clients to become known.”
Most Known Unknown (MKU) Athletics offers student-athletes a personal development experience like no other. Its services are designed to give student-athletes maximum exposure and the recognition necessary to increase the likelihood of being recruited. In addition to receiving specialized training from highly qualified (current and former) collegiate and NFL athletes, MKU also assists student-athletes with off-field preparation by providing tutoring and other areas of academic assistance. Since its development, MKU has positively affected at least one student-athlete from nearly every public and private elementary, junior high school, high school, and collegiate ranks in Northeast Ohio and beyond for a grand estimated total of 10,500 along with over 300 collegiate scholarships and counting.
